Who is the course for?
Anyone aged 16 and above who would like to gain skills in horticulture and conservation, learn about biodiversity in a local park and help to improve our all important green spaces.
What is the course about?
During the 12-week course you will get to do the following:
- Plant trees for St Ives
- Improve the woodland area and green space at Hill Rise Park
- Work as a team, meet new people, improve well-being and motivation and be part of something worthwhile
You'll also gain:
- A City and Guilds Practical Horticulture qualification (optional)
- Training on biodiversity in your local green space
- New skills to assist with a career change to horticulture, conservation or grounds maintenance
- Personal Skills Development training
When is it?
- Three days a week - Monday to Wednesdays
- 10am to 3pm
- Starts 10 January 2022
